Parent Empowerment Night

Child Safety and Prevention of Human Trafficking

Did you know there have been 70 cases of human trafficking reported IN UTAH in 2019? And over 330 cases since 2007 IN UTAH. This is not happening just in other places, this is happening on our streets. Sex trafficking, labor trafficking, male, female, old, young. Do you know how to spot it? We have invited 3 Strands Global Foundation to come and address this important topic and empower our families to learn and prevent. Please come join us VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, March 30th at 7 pm. When you attend online, your student will earn a reward and you will be empowered with knowledge. This is appropriate for you to watch with your students and have a discussion about as a family. There will be simultaneous Spanish translation available on the zoom call as well.

Parent Empowerment Night

Mental Wellness

As parents, we are always worried about the health of our children. Since March, we have become even more aware of physical and mental well-being. We’d like to invite you to our Virtual Parent Empowerment Night–Mental Wellness. We will hold two sessions, one for the needs of Elementary-aged students and one for the needs of Secondary-aged students. Feel free to attend both, as they will be somewhat different. You may also participate by phone if you are not able to manage Zoom.

1. Tuesday, November 17 at 7:00 PM–Mental Wellness: Elementary-age focus.
2. Wednesday, November 18 at 7:00 PM–Mental Wellness: Secondary-age focus.

Besides there being GREAT information for you, there’s also a bonus for your students! If you attend and complete the quick survey at the end of the meeting, your student will earn a special treat the following day from Mrs. Leavitt and Mrs. McCullough!

Noche de empoderamiento para padres: bienestar mental

Como padres, siempre estamos preocupados por la salud de nuestros hijos. Desde marzo, nos hemos vuelto aún más conscientes del bienestar físico y mental. Nos gustaría invitarlo a nuestra Noche virtual de empoderamiento para padres – Bienestar mental. Tendremos dos sesiones, una para las necesidades de los estudiantes de primaria y otra para las necesidades de los estudiantes de secundaria. No dudes en asistir a ambos, ya que serán algo diferentes. También puede participar por teléfono si no puede administrar Zoom.

Please join American Preparatory Academy students this Wednesday, November 11th (today) for our 2020 Veterans Day program! 

At American Preparatory Academy we believe it is a privilege to honor our veterans and to teach our students about the sacrifices they have made to maintain our nation’s liberties.

We love our veterans and prefer to hold our assemblies in person; however, this year, to keep everyone safe, this event will be live-streamed every hour from 8 am – 8 pm. Our Campus at ksl.com. Our West Valley One campus assembly is at 11 am and will repeat at 5 pm.
