American Preparatory Academy is now re enrolling CURRENTLY ENROLLED students for the 2015-2016 school year and accepting applications for siblings and transfers.
Please keep in mind that completing this form is NOT a guarantee of placement for your students at your requested location or a guarantee that siblings will be enrolled.
In accordance with Board of Education policy, we are now accepting applications for currently enrolled students to re enroll for the 2015-16 school year. In accordance with the policy, students that do not notify American Prep at this time that they intend to withdraw and enroll in a District School or another Charter School MAY BE DENIED ADMISSION TO THE DISTRICT OR OTHER CHARTER SCHOOL. Your honesty at this time is much appreciated.
To be accepted under the sibling priority status, the applying student must share at least one parent on the birth certificate. Cousins, aunts, uncles, and neighbors will not be accepted. Seats will be filled upon availability beginning on FEBRUARY 1ST for secondary and JUNE 1st for elementary.
All applications received on or before the application deadline will be eligible for enrollment. In the case that more applications are received then space is available, a lottery of sibling kindergarten students will be held. You will be notified by FEBRUARY 20th of your K student’s enrollment status.
American Preparatory Academy allows priority enrollment status for students transferring between APA locations. Students will receive priority AFTER staff students and siblings enrolled at that location. A very small number of students requesting a transfer will receive placement. Families will be notified when their transfer application has been approved. In order to qualify for transfer, families must complete this form and meet all the qualifications and standards for promotion (see Parent/Student Handbook). Transfer students will be notified of their approval beginning JUNE 1st.
