Afterschool Mission Statement

American Preparatory Academy’s Community Learning Centers offer after school opportunities for academic and character development, high arts participation, and family involvement.  We provide training and experiences that will prepare students to be capable, confident, and contributing citizens in their communities.  Our goal is to advance the expectation that all of our students will graduate high school, achieve a college diploma, and be successful in their future careers.

Our Mission is to provide musical instruction to foster lifelong qualities of refined character. We believe that music education works in beautiful tandem with academic learning and provides a positive outlet and identity for students of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. We will strive to help children develop the highest musical proficiency possible by providing instruction through excellent teachers, mentors, and musical role models in their lives.

Sistema Schedule

Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays

• 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm (student pick up 6:05-6:30)

Wednesdays and Thursdays

• 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm (student pick up 5:05-5:30)

First day of Sistema: Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024

 

 

 Walking Passes

Please be aware that a parent or guardian must sign out students without walking passes. Walking passes may be obtained in our school offices and will have an expiration date.

 

Clubs

Come to Lights On Afterschool on Sept. 6, 3:30-5:30, to see what clubs we will have this year. Spots fill up very quickly.

Clubs are Fridays from 3:30-4:30, starting Sept. 27, 2024.
